BIO: Ellen Adams is a queer writer of essays and fiction, as well as a singer-songwriter working in folk and country traditions. Her work appears in Ploughshares, Black Warrior Review, Kenyon Review Online, No Depression, and Singapore Art Museum, and was recently listed as notable in Best American Essays. She’s been awarded grants and residencies from Elizabeth George Foundation, the Fulbright Program, Canada Council for the Arts, Hedgebrook, and Banff Centre. She has taught workshops and writing courses throughout North America.
