Bio: Ladee Hubbard is the author of the novels The Talented Ribkins, which received a Hurston-Wright Legacy Award and the Ernest J. Gaines Award, and The Rib King. Her short story collection, The Last Suspicious Holdout, was published in March 2022. She is a recipient of a 2022 Guggenheim Award and has also received fellowships from the Radcliffe Institute, the American Academy in Berlin, Camargo and Sacatar.
