BIO: Samantha Thornhill is an international poet, children's author, educator and writing and intuitive guide from Trinidad and Tobago. As the founder of Samantha Speaks LLC, her literary and intuitive consulting firm, she formed The Aspirant Agency of Intuitive Talents, a team of spiritual practitioners that she leads in assisting aspirants with their physical, mental and spiritual health in the form of: ancestral mediumship, medical intuition, trauma counseling, energy healings, spiritual coaching, and intuitive guidance. Samantha is also an editor, writing coach and book doula, as she helps aspiring authors to bring their books from thought into form.
Samantha received her MFA in poetry from the University of Virginia and spent a decade in New York City teaching poetry to actors at the Juilliard School. She has also served as a writer in residence in NYC schools for middle and high school students. She is an international spoken word poet that has published dozens of poems in outlets such as Ms. Magazine, World Literature Today, and the original Breakbeat Poets Anthology. Samantha is also a traditionally published children’s author of almost a dozen books. Her debut poetry collection The Animated Universe was published by
Peepal Tree Press in the UK. As a creative mompreneur, Samantha is presently incubating a journalling cohort community around her most recent work, The Black Unicorn's Journal of Passions: A Self-Awareness Workbook Series for Survivors and Self-Healers. Find her at samanthaspeaks.com.
