    To arrive at the villa on Saturday, October 21st requires a flight departure from the United States on Friday, October 20th.

    Retreat participants are responsible for arranging their own travel. However, Hedgebrook partners with Limitless Travels for travel arrangements including flights, ground transportation, hotels, transfers, etc. They have a partner in Florence and are very experienced.     The closest airport is Florence, Italy. One can easily rent a car at the airport, and we can provide you with directions to various nearby sites and hill towns if you wish to explore. The villa is approx 1 hr from Florence and the airport, 20 mins drive from Greve, and 10 from Panzano.

  • Hotel recommendations in Panzano:

    1) La Pensione, right on Panzano village square. It's a brand new - or newly renovated - hotel. Great location with a lovely pool & views.

    2) Il Rosso del Chianti, a lovely & charming traditional Tuscan B&B. Also right in Panzano, but not quite in the center.
